USING OF ALCOHOL IN CHURCHES.

Alcohol itself isn’t called “holy oil” in Scripture. God never commanded us to pour beer, gin, or any alcohol on altars or on people during prayer.

What the Bible DOES say about alcohol

1. Wine was used 2 ways:
1. As a drink - with wisdom and moderation. 1 Timothy 5:23, Psalm 104:15
2. As a symbol in Communion - Jesus used wine as a picture of His blood. Luke 22:20 — “This cup that is poured out for you is the New Covenant in my blood.”
But we don’t pour it out for prayer. We drink it in remembrance of Jesus.

2. God warns against drunkenness

Ephesians 5:18 — “And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Proverbs 20:1 — “Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler...”

3. Priests were told NOT to drink when ministering

Leviticus 10:9 — “Do not drink wine or strong drink, you or your sons with you, when you go into the tent of meeting...”
God wanted them sober and alert before Him.

What we need to break curses / spiritual Marriege

1. The Blood of Jesus — Colossians 2:14-15, Revelation 12:11
2. Repentance + Prayer + The Word — James 5:16
3. The Holy Spirit’s power — Acts 10:38

Pouring alcohol, oil, water, etc to “fight spirits” can become superstition. It puts power in the thing instead of in Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Zechariah 4:6 — _“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord

Use Biblical Ways.
Cleansing The Blood of Jesus 1 John 1:7
Deliverance Prayer + Fasting + Word Mark 9:29
Healing Anoint with oil + prayer James 5:14
Protection Put on the Armor of God Ephesians 6:10-18
Breaking curses Declare you’re blessed in Christ Galatians 3:13
Oil is mentioned for anointing the sick to God. But alcohol is never prescribed for prayer or deliverance.

Summary

Using alcohol in prayer is not biblical.
We pray to God, in Jesus’ name, by the Holy Spirit. That’s what breaks spiritual marriage, curses, and every yoke. Isaiah 10:27

Luke 10:19 — “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy...”
